Brad Zoern

Brad Zoern (born June 19, 1970 in Windsor , Ontario ) is a Canadian sound mixer .

Life

Brad Zoern played drums in various bands during his high school years. After high school, he enrolled at Sheridan College in Ontario, where he studied media arts. He specialized in sound engineering and became a sound engineer . He started his career at Film House / Deluxe Production until he went freelance in 2004. He now works for Deluxe Entertainment in Toronto. In the course of his career he worked on more than 100 films and television series.

In 2012, he received a Primetime Emmy for his work on the Hatfields & McCoys miniseries .

Together with Christian Cooke and Glen Gauthier , he was nominated for an Oscar in the Best Sound category at the 2018 Academy Awards for his work on Shape of Water .
