Bradner is a village in Wood County , Ohio , United States . According to the 2000 census, the population was 1,171.
geography
The site is at the intersection of Ohio State Route 58 (Caldwell Road) and Ohio State Route 281 and is shared by the Chesapeak and Ohio Railroad . There are some oil pumps in the south-eastern part of the city .
According to the United States Census Bureau , the village has an area of 1.6 km², there are no significant bodies of water.
Demographics
At the time of the United States Census 2000, Bradner lived in 1171 people. The population density was 741.2 people per km ². There were 454 housing units at an average of 287.4 per km ². Bradner's population was 98.80% White , 0% Black or African American , 0.17% Native American , 0.09% Asian , 0% Pacific Islander , 0.43% said they were racial and 0, 51% named two or more races. 2.65% of the population declared to be Hispanic or Latinos of any race.
The residents of Bradner were distributed to 445 households out of which 35.1% had children under 18 years of age. 56.4% of households were married, 11.5% had a female head of household without a husband and 27.6% were not families. 23.8% of households were made up of individuals and someone lived in 9.7% of all households aged 65 years or older.
