Braiten is a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Baden in the Baden district in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 526 building areas with 128,891 m² and 571 gardens on 314,163 m² in the cadastral community of Braiten, in 1989/1990 there were 532 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 1809 and in 2009/2010 there were 872 buildings on 1,835 building areas.
Agriculture
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 1411 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 11 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 1095 hectares and 37 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 1,282 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 72 hectares. The average soil climate number of Braiten is 43.4 (as of 2010).
