Bram van Ojik

Abraham van Ojik (born September 22, 1954 in Veenendaal ) is a Dutch diplomat and politician of the GroenLinks .

Life

Ojik studied at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam . From April 6, 1988 to November 24, 1990, Ojik was the successor of Janneke van der Plaat as party chairman of the Politieke Partij Raduellen (PPR). From April 21, 1993 to May 17, 1994, from September 20, 2012 to May 20, 2015 and again since March 23, 2017, he is a member of the Second Chamber of the States General for GroenLinks. From May 1, 2003 to August 1, 2006, Ojik was the ambassador of the Netherlands in Benin . From October 8, 2012 to May 12, 2015, Ojik was the successor to Jolande Sap as group leader of GroenLinks, followed by Jesse Klaver as group leader .

Ojik lives with his family in The Hague .
