The slope terrace Brambrüesch is located in the southwest of the city of Chur on the northeast slope of the Dreibündenstein in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland , it belongs to the municipality of Churwalden .

Brambrüesch is a local recreation area (skiing and hiking area) and is made accessible to tourists by Bergbahnen Chur-Dreibündenstein AG.

Bergbahnen Chur-Dreibündenstein AG operates two transport systems in summer and five in winter on Chur's local mountain, Brambrüesch, and is open 260 days per year. On weekends in summer and winter, the train also runs until late in the evening. From Chur you can get to the center directly at 1600 m above sea level in just 12 minutes . M.

In winter, the following five facilities are in operation: a cable car , a gondola lift , a chair lift and two ski lifts . With a total length of 20 km, the slopes range from 2200 m to 1170 m. The cable car and gondola lift are open in summer. Since the establishment of a downhill route , the two systems have also been increasingly used by mountain bikers . In terms of frequency and yield, the summer operation had equaled or exceeded the previously more important winter operation by 2016.

The operation of the cable cars has been in deficit for a long time, which is why the city of Chur regularly makes significant financial contributions. From the point of view of the city president Urs Marti , the transport frequencies should be increased if possible, also with a view to future investments and, if necessary, including a realignment of the use of the town hall area.
