Brand New is an alternative rock band from Merrick ( New York / USA ) founded in 2000 . It consists of members Jesse Lacey, Vinnie Accardi, Garrett Tierney and Brian Lane. So far the band has released five albums, Your Favorite Weapon (2001), Deja Entendu (2003) The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me (2006), Daisy (2009) and Science Fiction (2017).
Band history
Lacey , Tierney and Lane were members of The Rookie Lot , along with Brandon Reilly ( The Movielife ). After changing the line-up a few times, Vinnie Accardi was added in 2000 and Brand New was founded. After recording and releasing their own 4 track EP, the group began touring around Long Island . She increased her popularity by supporting well-known bands, such as New Found Glory .
In 2001 Brand New released their first album called Your Favorite Weapon , shortly after releasing two songs on a split EP with Safety in Numbers . In 2003 a limited edition of "The Holiday EP" was released as well as their second album Deja Entendu .
In 2006 Brand New released their third album The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me . The album was voted record of the year in 2007 by Visions magazine .
In 2008 Brand New founded their own record label called Procrastinate! Music traitors . In 2009 the album Daisy was released , in 2017 the album Science Fiction .
