Brandenburg ( Luxembourgish Branebuerg , French Brandenbourg ) is a village in the municipality of Tandel in the canton of Vianden in Luxembourg .

Brandenburg lies in the valley of the Blees . Within the village, the Millebach and the Hämechtbach flow into the Blees. The place is accessible by the CR 352 and 353. Neighboring places are Landscheid in the north and Bastendorf in the south .
General
Brandenburg has belonged to the municipality of Tandel since January 1, 2006, previously the village was part of Bastendorf.
The main attraction is the Brandenburg castle ruins , which rise above the town. Its core dates back to the 10th century. Another attraction is the parish church of St. Peter and Paul , built in 1790 .
