The Brander area is a former ore - mining area in Saxony . It existed from the second half of the 16th century to the second half of the 20th century. The "Brander Revier" is registered as a whole in the Saxon list of monuments.

The Brander Revier includes the former tunnels and shafts as well as the mining facilities and mining water management systems in the town of Brand-Erbisdorf and its districts of Himmelsfürst , Langenau , Linda and St. Michaelis . It connects to the Freiberg mountain area to the south .
