Brandon Oldenburg
Brandon Oldenburg (* 1973/1974 in Fort Worth , Texas ) is an American animator .
Life
Oldenburg attended Richland High School until 1991, where he already took film courses. He then studied illustration at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota and co-founded Reel FX Creative Studios in Dallas in 1995 . The studio specialized in designs and special effects in the film and television sector.
In 2009, Oldenburg left Reel FX and founded the animation film studio Moonbot Studios with William Joyce in Shreveport . Their first film together was The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore , which premiered in January 2011. The short animated film was in 2012 with an Oscar in the category of animated short film Best excellent.
