Branislav Obžera (born August 29, 1981 in Bystričany ) is a Slovak football player .

Club career

Obžera played for FK Nováky in his youth. His first season in 1999/00 in the highest Slovak league he played for FK Baník Prievidza. The next stop was for one season at FK Dukla Banská Bystrica , followed by ŠK Slovan Bratislava for three seasons and FC Artmedia Bratislava for two seasons. Then Obžera moved for one season in the Russian Premjer League to Saturn Ramenskoje , after which he played another season for the renamed FC Artmedia Petržalka. In September 2008 Obžera moved to ŠK Slovan Bratislava, with whom he was Slovak champion twice and won the national cup competition three times. Before that, Obžera was twice Slovakian champion with Artmedia. He is haunted by bad luck with injuries, he didn't play at all in 2004, as was the case between May 2010 and April 2011.

National team

Obžera has completed six international matches for the Slovak national football team since 2007.
