Branko Grahovac (born July 8, 1983 in Bosanska Gradiška , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Bosnian-Herzegovinian football player . He played a total of 291 games in the Serbian SuperLiga , the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Premijer Liga and the Romanian League 1 . In 2011 he won the Romanian championship with Oțelul Galați .
Career
Grahovac's career began in 2001 with his hometown club FK Zeta Golubovci , who played in the Prva liga SR Jugoslavije at the time. At first he didn't get a chance there. It was not until the 2003/04 season that he made his first appearance. In the 2004/05 season he was the goalkeeper and was able to finish the season in third place, which meant qualifying for the UEFA Cup . He then left the club and moved to FK Željezničar Sarajevo in Bosnia. In 2007 he moved to FK Borac Čačak in the Serbian SuperLiga . After teething problems, he became number one in goal in the 2008/09 season. On December 10, 2008 he scored in the league game against OFK Belgrade in the 88th minute to equalize for his team, which finally won the game.
In the winter break of 2009/10 Grahovac left Serbia and moved to Oțelul Galați in the Romanian league 1. There he was the undisputed number one goal from the start. In the 2010/11 season he was the backing of his team when they won the Romanian championship for the first time. In the following season he was in goal in all six games of his team in the Champions League , but could not prevent the elimination in the group stage.
In spring 2014 Grahovac moved to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig for promoted Kahramanmaraşspor . In April 2014, his contract was terminated. In the summer of 2014 he returned to CSMS Iași in Romania. At the end of the 2015/16 season , he and his new club qualified for the Europa League . In summer 2017 he left Iași after three years and moved to UTA Arad in Liga II . He ended his career there at the end of 2017.
