Brec Bassinger
Brec Bassinger (born May 25, 1999 in Saginaw , Texas ) is an American actress . She became known for her role as Bella Dawson in the Nickelodeon series Bella and the Bulldogs (2015-2016).
Life
Bassinger lives with her mother in California while the rest of her family has stayed in Texas. Before starting her acting career, she played a. a. Basketball and volleyball and was a cheerleader in competitions. She was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of eight . In 2009 she won the Little Miss World beauty pageant. After her debut in the pilot episode of The Goldbergs she played from 2013 to 2014 in the Nickelodeon - youth series The Haunted Hathaways the recurring supporting role of Emma . The broadcaster then cast her as Bella Dawson for its youth sitcom Bella and the Bulldogs . In 2015, she took on the lead role of Vi in the Nickelodeon TV film Lies Have Sharp Teeth .
Since 2020 she has played the leading role in the DC Universe series Stargirl .
