The Breidvika ( Norwegian for width Bay is) a bay in East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . On the Princess Ragnhild Coast , it penetrates up to 20 km inland into the ice shelf off this stretch of coast . Its minor bays include King Leopold III Bay , Baie Polarhav and Baie USS Glacier .
Norwegian cartographers, who also gave it its name, mapped it using aerial photos taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
