The Breitenbach is a left tributary of the Jossa in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis in the Hessian Spessart, almost one and a half kilometers long .

The Breitenbach rises in the Schwarzer Grund at an altitude of about 360  m above sea level. NHN east of Lettgenbrunn .

It flows in a northeasterly direction and finally flows north of Pfaffenhausen at an altitude of about 330  m above sea level. NHN from the left into the Jossa .

Its 1.4 km long run ends about 30 meters below its source, so it has an average bottom gradient of about 21 ‰.
