Brekilen ( Norwegian for glacier bay ) is an indentation of the ice shelf off the Princess Ragnhild coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located 16 km southwest of Tangekilen Bay .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped the bay using aerial photographs from the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 .
