Bremmer Calmont is the name of a single location in Bremm on the Moselle ( Moselle wine-growing region ). The single layer is part of the Grafschaft large area and belongs to the Terrassenmosel area ; the neighboring location is the Ellerer Calmont .

Riesling has been grown here for generations . The area comprises about 33 hectares of vineyards on the slope of the Calmont and slopes to the southeast, south and southwest. The arch shape makes it a particularly protected location. The inclination is up to 68 °, i.e. approx. 248%. Along with the small Engelsfelsen in the Bühlertal, the location is considered the steepest vineyard in Europe. The soil consists of mineral slate with quartzite and sandstone . Here the winemakers are still dependent on manual labor and muscle power (→ steep-slope viticulture ).

Bremmer Calmont is one of Hugh Johnson's Grand Cru wines .
