The Brengi (also Bringhi ) is a right tributary of the Jhelam in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir .

The headwaters of the Brengi are located on the Margan Top at an altitude of about 3500  m in the northeast of the Anantnag district . It initially flows south through the Margan Valley . The Margan Top Road follows the course of the river. After 20 km the Rajparian Nallah meets the Brengi from the left at Dandipora . Shortly afterwards the Brengi turns to the northwest. The National Highway 1B runs in the valley of Brengi on the following 20km. The city of Kokernag is not far from the river. The Brengi flows through the southeastern part of the Kashmir Valley in a north-northwestern direction. At Anantnag the Brengi finally meets the Jhelam, which runs further west. The Brengi has a length of about 60 km.
