Brenner from Felsach

Brenner von Felsach , also von Brenner-Felsach , is the name of an Austrian noble family . The progenitor is the imperial court and chamber jeweler Johann Caspar Brenner (* 1675 in Dillingen an der Donau , Bavaria ; † 1715 in Vienna ).

Nobility uprisings

  • Elevation to the imperial nobility on November 23, 1710 in Vienna for the aforementioned Johann Caspar Brenner .
  • Austrian knighthood with "Edler von Felsach" on May 31, 1818 in Vienna for Ignaz von Brenner , kk accountant of the montan court bookkeeping.
  • Austrian baron by an extraordinary decree of December 29, 1836 with a diploma of February 6, 1837 for the same as kk Hofrat .

Divided within a broad red shield border ; at the top a green tip in silver, in it growing out of the dividing line a man dressed in gold, turned forward, with a red belt and black cap, holding a burning torch in his right hand, at the top on both sides accompanied by a gold armored black eagle on the edge of the shield; below in blue on green ground a steep brown rock rising to the middle, from which a natural brook falls. Three helmets with black and silver covers on the right, red and gold on the left ; on the right helmet the man with the torch growing between open black flight ; on the middle helmet a silver anchor , on the cross-piece of which stands an upwardly directed silver crescent; on the left helmet a growing golden lion between two red buffalo horns. Shield holders are two armored people . Motto: Esse potius quam videri .
