The Brettheim Children's Choir (previously: Brettheim Children's Choir “Sing with!” ) Is a children's choir that has been known for its services to the development of German-language Christian children's music since the 1980s.
The choir, which today has around 50 voices and has been under the direction of Johannes Hammer and his wife Miriam since 2014, was founded in 1983 by the pastor couple Hans-Gerhard and Elisabeth Hammer, initially under the longer name of the Brettheim Children's Choir "Sing with!" Through its publications in the publishing house of the Liebenzeller Mission , mostly known in the German-speaking Christian music scene in coproduction with the publishing house of the Evangeliums-Rundfunks . In addition to individual songs, the repertoire also included larger overall constructs such as singing games and musicals, specially designed for children. Since the mid-1990s, the children's choir's albums have been published by Hänssler-Verlag , which has released other successful musicals such as Der Ausreißer . In the concerts of the children's choir, in-house stage works play a key role. From 1983 to 2008 the children's choir performed annually at the children's mission festivals of the Liebenzeller Mission in May.
