Brezel Göring (* 1967 as Hartmut Richard Friedrich Ziegler in Wolfhagen ) is a Berlin musician and member of the Stereo Total music group .

Life

Brezel Göring went to school in Wolfhagen and Hofgeismar . As a teenager he played in various local bands, including Haunted Henschel . He also performed solo under the name of Fürst Ziegler . Via Kassel , where he founded the band Sigmund Freud Experience , and Dortmund , he came to West Berlin in 1988 .

Stereo Total, 2005

At the end of 1992, Göring met Françoise Cactus there, who initially joined Sigmund Freud Experience. Soon the band renamed itself Stereo Total . Initially active as a quartet, Stereo Total soon became a Göring / Cactus duo, which has since released numerous albums and played live throughout Europe, North and South America, Japan, China and Russia.

In addition, Göring publishes solo records and music for video games, films and plays. He played with Neoangin ( Jim Avignon's band ), Kommando Sonne-nmilch , the Doctors , the Elbipolis Barockorchester Hamburg, Klaus Beyer , Wolfgang Müller and the Oberkreuzberg Nose Flute Orchestra . Sometimes he plays on musical instruments he has invented. There are also compositions and performances for theaters such as Hebbel am Ufer , the Cologne Philharmonic and the Berlin Volksbühne . Otherwise he plays various keyboard instruments, guitar and drums.

Göring also produces bands, operates the “Verboten in Deutschland” label, and sets silent films to music. In 2012 his book Unbehagen im Mittelstufe was published with “Student Theater Pieces”. The plays were premiered in July 2019 under the direction of Christian Genzel by the theater group “Kommando Unbehagen”, which is mainly made up of students.

As a composer he uses the pseudonym Friedrich von Finsterwalde .
