Kommando Sonne-nmilch was a punk band from Hamburg , which was founded in 1998 by Jens Rachut . In 2013 the band split up.

Band history

Kommando Sonne-Milch was founded in 1998 by Jens Rachut ( Grandma Hans ) and Brezel Göring ( Stereo Total ) as a studio project. The two gave each other the pseudonyms Hartmut Jawuräk and Bernhard Schlauch. In Norway, the debut album Think about your family (also known as ugly and new ) was recorded. The album was released on the independent label Schiffen , on which Rachut had already released albums from his other bands Angeschissen , Blumen am Arsch der Hölle , Dachshund Blood and Grandma Hans. NoMeansNo guitarist Tom Holliston and the hardcore punk band Kurt were also involved in the album . The cast was disguised on the album, and the group performed masked live in the opening act for Stereo Total.

In 2003, the second album was released, The Specht Doesn't Build Houses . Since Schiffen stopped the album production and only functions as a mailorder , the album was released by Sounds of Subterrania . After Grandma Hans split up in 2006, Kommando Sonne-nmilch became Rachut's main band. With Andreas Ness (guitar) he integrated another member of his old group and with Stephan Mahler a former Slime member in Kommando Sonne-nmilch. The actresses Karin de Boer and Yvon Jansen joined in as further singing voices. In 2007 Jamaica was released on the Buback label . The LP was released on Major Label . In 2008 the 8-track mini album Shit, limited to 1000 copies , followed, not Bernstein again , and in 2010 the album Pfingsten was released . After the concert on December 1, 2013 in Hamburg's Hafenklang the band broke up.

Music genre

In contrast to Rachut's earlier bands, Kommando Sonne-nmilch is still recognizable as a punk band, but increasingly relies on electronic stylistic elements , especially on the first album. The later albums, especially after Grandma Hans broke up, are increasingly kept in the old style, even if the experimental style was partially retained. As on other Rachut publications, his texts are very lyrical, often on the verge of Dadaism . The female / male chant is very rough.
