Rachut does not judge his work as part of the entertainment industry and, according to his own statements, avoids the marketing strategies common in the music industry with his projects. In 2010 he said in an interview with the free Hamburg radio station FSK regarding his band Kommando Sonne-nmilch: “We're not in business. For me, that includes interviews, tours and being big in the newspapers. But that's not the case with us, especially if you look at the long time we've been doing it. "

music

Rachut was co-founder and singer of the bands Angeschissen (1984–1988), Das Moor (1988), Flowers on the Ass of Hell (1991–1994), Dachshund Blood (1994–1999) and Oma Hans (2001–2006). From 1998 to 2013 he was the singer of the band Kommando Sonne-nmilch , which he initially founded under the pseudonym Bernhard Schlauch together with the stereo-total musician Brezel Göring (real name: Hartmut Richard Friedrich Ziegler), then called Hartmut Jawuräk . The band now has a larger line-up. In 2011 Rachut released the EP Nuclear Raped Fuck Bomb together with Mense Reents , Thomas Wenzel and Leatherface- Frontmann Frankie Stubbs under the project name NRFB . In 2013, Rachut founded the band Alte Sau , which released their first album in the same year and their second album in 2016. The band dispenses with guitar and bass and only gets by with a home organ and rudimentary drums. With the band Ratttengold he has been playing live songs from his previous bands since 2014.

As a guest musician, Rachut sang in 2001 in the piece The man who scolds the air on the album Schafott zum Elevator of the band Die Goldenen Zitronen . He had already been the band's roadie in the early 1990s . The track “That has nothing to do with art” on the band's 1994 album Das bißchen Totschlag also refers to him. Further guest contributions by Rachut can be found on the album Als was geht Gott an Karneval ? , released in 2005 by the band Oiro . as well as on the album Songs are Brothers of the Revolution by the band Dÿse from 2009.

Radio plays

In addition to his music, Rachut also publishes radio plays: between 2007 and 2008 his trilogy The Epidemic Prince was released , in which actors Laura Tonke , Daniel Lommatzsch and Josef Ostendorf participated as speakers . In 2011, together with the Hamburg musician Jonas Landerschier, musician of the backing bands Jan Delays and Rocko Schamonis, he published the radio play Gott in derfallen , with actor and director Martin Wuttke as speaker, which is also available on CD as Diefallen: Gott .

theatre

As an actor, Rachut appeared at the Volksbühne Berlin , the Schauspielhaus Zürich , the Schauspielhaus Hanover and the Hamburger Schauspielhaus and played in productions by Schorsch Cameroon and Jacques Palminger , among others . Palminger had already worked with Rachut as the drummer for Dachshund Blood under his real name Heiner Ebber.

Readings

Between 2010 and 2011, Rachut performed together with other actors (including Lisa Hagmeister , Daniel Lommatsch and Jörg Pohl) under the musical accompaniment of Jonas Landerschier as part of several readings under the title Severely Injured Thunder .
