Flowers at the Ass of Hell was a punk band from Hamburg that existed from 1991 to 1994.

history

The original line-up consisted of Jens Rachut (vocals), Andreas Ness (guitar), Carsten Knoop (bass) and Marc Wills (drums), who died in 1996, and was the successor to Angeschissen and Das Moor . Later band members were Björn Brauer (bass), who later founded the punk band Motormuschi, and Martin G. (guitar), who later played in the bands Pommes Brutal and Themorol. Bands like Dackelblut , Oma Hans and Kommando Sonne-nmilch later emerged from Blumen Am Arsch Der Hölch .

The band released only one self-titled LP in 1992 on the Buback label . A cover version of the Blondie song Picture This was made with the participation of Snuff singer Duncan and Shaun from Wat Tyler . In 1994 the group disbanded after founding member Marc Wills announced that he would be leaving the group. The remaining members formed the Dachshund Blood group.

A re-release of the album in 2000 was remastered by Frank Stubbs ( Leatherface ) and sound engineer Tom Meyer and contains a 20-second bonus track dedicated to the late founding member Marc Wills. On the occasion of the re-release, the band played three exclusive concerts with Kurt drummer Armin Nagel.
