Dÿse is a German noise rock band .
history
Dietrich from Chemnitz and van Gohl from Jena, according to their own account, met in Amsterdam in 2003 in the Dysecatmotel and there they made the decision to start a band. Their music is a mix of rock, metal, punk, pop, jazz and blues played only with guitar and drums. The guitar runs through several bass amplifiers. The duo's lyrics are mainly in German and English. Dÿse also sing in Spanish and French. The content is about social injustice, prison experiences, car accidents and drug excesses.
Her appearances in Europe and Asia also included participation in festivals such as Incubate in the Netherlands, Olgas Rock , Desertfest , Krach am Bach , Free & Easy Festival and Open Flair Festival in Germany. The band played among other things as the opening act for Beatsteaks and Die Ärzte .
