The Incubate Festival is a festival of music , theater , visual arts , film and discussion, the year in September in Tilburg in the Netherlands takes place.
history
The Incubate started as a music festival "ZXZW", with a focus on hardcore, metal , noise and punk . Since the second festival, visual arts, film and many musical genres such as folk , hip-hop , garage rock , dubstep , techno , kuduru , cumbia , free jazz and many more have been added. Incubate has also hosted a discussion forum each year during the festival since 2009. The name "ZXWZ" was changed to Incubate in 2009 following a lawsuit by the SXSW Festival. Incubate takes place in various clubs, pubs and galleries in downtown Tilburg. In 2012, 15,000 fans attended the week-long festival.
