Brian Saunders is a sound engineer .
Life
Saunders began his career in British television in the late 1970s. Television remained his main focus, and in 1992 he was nominated for two BAFTA TV Awards in the Best Sound category for his work on the television series Hot Suspicion and Inspector Morse, Oxford Homicide. He won the award for Inspector Morse, Oxford Homicide Team with Tony Dawe , Nigel Galt and Paul Conway .
Saunders has also worked on a few feature films. For one of his first films, Gorillas in the Mist , he was in 1989 together with Andy Nelson and Peter Handford for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to Clint Eastwood's biopic Bird . His other notable films include Danny Boyle's Little Murders Among Friends from 1994 and Trainspotting from 1996. Saunders retired from the film and television business that same year.
