Briga (* 10. January 1989 in Rome as Mattia Grandi Belle ) is an Italian singer and rapper .

Career

Briga was signed to the independent label Honiro in 2011 , where he subsequently released the two free mixtapes Malinconia della partenza and Alcune sere . Several singles, including Sei di mattina , helped him gain some popularity on the internet. In 2015 he took part in the 14th edition of the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi , where he came in second after the band The Kolors . His clashes with juror Loredana Bertè attracted particular attention . Subsequently, his album Never Again , originally planned for 2014, was released by Universal distribution , which also includes a collaboration with Tiziano Ferro .

In April 2016, Non odiare me, an autobiographical book, was published in collaboration with Andrea Passeri. Introduced by the two singles Baciami (Hasta luego) and Mentre nasce l'aurora , Briga released the next album Talento in October 2016 , this time distributed by Sony . In 2017, the novel Novocaina: una storia d'amore e di autocombustione was the musician's second book publication.
