Brigitte Ahrens

Brigitte Ahrens (born September 13, 1945 in Chemnitz ) is a German pop singer .

Life

Brigitte Ahrens made herself familiar with dance music between 1961 and 1964 in the Schlagerchor of the Karl-Marx-Städter Club of Young Talents . In 1967, her musical path led through Heinz Quermann's Herzklopfen free talent competition . She did a successful microphone rehearsal on the radio of the GDR in East Berlin . At the Central Studio for Entertainment Arts, she completed training in singing, ballet, acting and speech training .

She became known through numerous programs on the DFF . Several Amiga records were released, which are still very popular with collectors in Germany and the Benelux countries . Brigitte Ahrens went on tours abroad to Poland , Romania , Bulgaria , Hungary , the ČSSR and the Benelux countries. For a few years she worked as a music editor for the district broadcaster Karl-Marx-Stadt and later for his successor, Sachsen Radio . After a long break, she contacted me with the CD I'm going to fifty, recorded in 2005 ... so what? back again. Occasionally she appears as a solo entertainer , with the duo Bretthardt from Chemnitz or a DJ .

With the title Wo ist die liebe Sonne , composed by Arndt Bause , Brigitte Ahrens won 3rd place in the GDR Schlager competition in 1971. The title The Sun Raised For Me , which Ralf Petersen wrote in 1974, was also a great success .
