Brigitte Gadient (born October 9, 1963 ) is a former Swiss ski racer .
In her career, the slalom specialist did not win a World Cup race, but took second place three times:
- 1983/84 in Waterville Valley (USA)
- 1984/85 in Madonna di Campiglio (ITA)
- 1985/86 in Savognin (SUI)
However, she celebrated a victory on November 22, 1986 when she won the slalom of the World Series of Skiing in Sestriere, which is only part of the Nations Cup .
In the 1980s, Gadient was part of the strong Swiss slalom team alongside her teammates Erika Hess , Vreni Schneider , Brigitte Oertli , Corinne Schmidhauser and Christine von Grünigen .
For the 1988 Olympic Games in Calgary , she could not qualify, at the 1985 World Ski Championships in Bormio , she achieved ninth place. Gadient retired from active ski racing in 1990.
