Brigitte Hausinger

Brigitte Hausinger (born April 8, 1964 in Lower Bavaria ; † March 13, 2016 in Taufkirchen ) was a German supervisor and university professor.

Life

After studying social pedagogy from 1985 to 1990 at the Regensburg University of Applied Sciences and subsequent practical experience in working with people with disabilities, Brigitte Hausinger trained as a systemic couple and family therapist. From 1995 to 1998 she studied supervision at the University of Kassel and completed her studies as a certified supervisor. From 2000 to 2003 she did her doctorate there on the subject of changes in the world of work. After working as a research assistant at the University of Kassel, she started her own business in 2009 with a broad mix of consulting, research and teaching activities.

From 2012 to 2014, as Scientific Director, she was responsible for the part-time studies for supervision and coaching - MSc and organizational consulting / organizational development - MSc at the Austrian FH Vorarlberg . At the same time, she was a lecturer in the part-time consulting courses at the Universities of Kassel and Salzburg and at the Evangelical University of Freiburg .

She was also involved in professional politics. She contributed to the profiling of supervision and coaching and for nine years represented interests on the board of the German Society for Supervision (DGSv) . She was also involved in the Austrian Association for Supervision (ÖVS).

For many years she was editor-in-chief of the specialist magazine Supervision , which was published by Beltz-Verlag .

Brigitte Hausinger was married.
