Brigitte Marshal
Brigitte Marschall (born December 1, 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian theater scholar .
Marschall studied theater studies , German literature and medicine at the University of Vienna , where she did her doctorate in theater studies . Today she is an associate professor at the Institute for Theater, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna . Her field of research includes “rituality and theatricality in times of social crisis”. Marschall was an activist at the First Vienna Reading Theater and Second Impromptu Theater .
