British Home Championship 1901/02
The British Home Championship 1901-02 was the 19th edition of the round-robin system discharged football competition between the four British national teams of England , Ireland (from 1950/51 Northern Ireland ), Scotland and Wales .
The competition was overshadowed by the (first) Ibrox disaster , in which 25 people were killed and over 500 others were injured when a wooden grandstand collapsed. The game, which continued after an approximately 20-minute interruption, was later canceled and repeated, as the only one in the history of the competition.
