Britta Lübke

Britta-Susann Lübke (* 1958 in Magdeburg ) is a German television journalist , director and producer. She is an editor at Radio Bremen .

Life

Lübke grew up in Essen and Hanover . In Dortmund , she completed a degree in journalism, spatial planning and literary studies, from which she graduated as a journalist. Traineeships at the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung and in the WDR studio in Bielefeld rounded off her journalistic training.

In 1984 Lübke began working for WDR on television and radio. There she worked as a reporter, editor, presenter, head of service and broadcast director. In 1987, she switched to Radio Bremen , where she initially designed the program buten un inside with the same job profile . Later, as RB editor, she was responsible for documentaries, reports and film portraits. She also worked as a writer, producer and director in Germany and abroad.

In 2002 Lübke accompanied her father to Hamh inng in North Korea. In 1956/57 he helped rebuild the city as a member of the German working group . She was the first western journalist who managed to get into the interior of North Korea and shoot there. She then created two films from the experiences and images, the arte documentary The Dream of the Thousand Moon River - North Korea a Return and the ARD travel report Beyond the Last Wall .

In 2013 Lübke took part in the shooting of the ten-part arte television documentary "fernOst" with six other journalists and a camera team. The crew traveled in off-road vehicles from Berlin to Tokyo for over half a year, mostly on Asian Highway 1 .
