The Brložský potok is a left tributary of the Otava in the Czech Republic .

course

The Brložský potok rises south of Záboří in the Blatenská pahorkatina. Its source is at the eastern foot of the Volyně (587 m). After a few meters, the stream is dammed in Velký rybník and another small pond. The upper course of the brook then initially leads south through the Klečkovna, Řežabina and Řežabinka ponds. At Katovsko the Brložský potok turns east and flows between Nahošín, Bratronice and Doubravice through the Nahošín and Kovašín ponds. The wetland between the two ponds is protected as a nature reserve Kovašínské louky . At Milčice the brook takes an easterly direction. Past Na Sázkách and Lažany , the Brložský potok at Kořenský Mlýn flows into the Kořenský rybník pond. The further course leads past Sosnovec near Pilský Mlýn into the Horní Zástava pond, where the brook heads south-east. Then the Brložský potok flows past Kabelíkův Mlýn through the ponds Dolní Zástava, Velkorojický rybník and Malorojický rybník to Rojice. Between Rojice and Velká Turná , the stream is bridged by the Březnice – Strakonice railway line. In Malá Turná, the Brložský potok is dammed in the Pančák pond. Along its further course are the places Hubert, Petrovice, Větrov, Jemnice, Brloh, Podolí, Brusy, Stará Dobev and Nová Dobev. Below Dobev , the Brložský potok flows through the ponds Dobevský rybník and Velký potočný rybník. The latter, including its shoreline, is protected as a Velký Potočný natural monument. To the east of the Velký potočný rybník, around Na Ovčíně, the golf course of the Prácheňský golfový klub extends. The lower course of the stream runs past Kestřany and Sádky via Hrušov and Chotěbořice. On the right side of the stream is the ensemble of the Kestřany Castle, the Upper Kestřany Fortress and the Barchov Fortress. After 27 kilometers, the Brložský potok flows into the Otava north of the Podvesný rybník pond near Chotěbořice .

The Březnice – Strakonice railway runs through the Brložský potok valley between Rojice and Malá Turná. The ruins of the Petrovice Fortress are located above the valley near Větrov.
