history

The first written mention of Doubravice was in 1357 together with Třebohostice, when Bašek von Blatná acquired both villages from his uncle Wilhelm von Strakonitz. Later Doubravice was again from the rule Blatná separated and the Johanniter Coming Strakonice sold. When the Kommende Strakonice was divided into eleven mayor's offices, Doubravice belonged to the seventh office from 1569 along with Mečichov, Nahošín and Katovsko. In the berní rula from 1654 16 farms and one chalupner are shown for Doubravice. Ten of the farmers were old residents, one of the farms was newly occupied and four were in desolation. The compulsory labor had to be done first at the Katowsko farm and after its sale to the Bratronitz lordship at the Krt . In 1840 Daubrawitz consisted of 53 houses with 317 inhabitants. The parish was Zaboř . Until the middle of the 19th century, Daubrawitz was always subject to the Strakonitz rule.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Doubravice / Daubrawitz 1850 with the hamlet Nahošín a municipality in the district administration and the judicial district Strakonice. After the community planned to build a school, it was built in Enis-Laschan on the initiative of Baron Wenzel Enis von Atter and Iveaghe and inaugurated in 1866. Nahošín broke away from Doubravice in 1870 and formed its own municipality. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1902. After the end of the Second World War, six families left Doubravice and moved to the border areas . In 1950 the village received a telephone connection and the following year it was connected to the electricity network. Up until now agriculture was the main source of income for the residents, but the industrialization of Strakonice and the establishment of a bus service to the district town meant that more and more residents found well-paid work in the town in the 1950s. In 1954, almost every third inhabitant commuted to Strakonitz to work on the construction site, in the arms factory or the Fez factory. In 1956 an agricultural cooperative with 57 members was formed. 14 farmers rejected collectivization and initially continued to operate privately. In 1964 Nahošín and Lažany were incorporated. In the same year a newly built kindergarten opened, originally the construction was planned as a school. Since the closure of the primary school in Lažany, lessons have taken place in Záboří. Lažany became independent again on January 1st, 1992.
