Milejovice [ ˈmɪlɛjovɪt͡sɛ ] (German Milliwitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers south of Strakonice and belongs to the Okres Strakonice .

Geographical location
Milejovice is located between the Volyňka and Zorkovický potok valleys on a saddle surrounded by hills. The 647 m high Vráž rises to the east.

history
The first written mention of the village comes from the year 1315. Until the 19th century the place was called Milivice .
