history

The first written mention of Kváskovice was in 1334, when Margarethe von Rosenberg , the widow of Bavors III. von Strakonitz , the town of Bavorov and 24 villages to her brother Peter I. von Rosenberg . In 1357 the Rosenbergs had the Helfenburg built on the Malošín . In the first half of the 15th century they sold Kváskovice to the Sedlecký from Dub, followed by the Kořenský from Terešov to Chřešťovice. In the second half of the 17th century, the Lažanský von Buggau ( Lažanští z Bukové ) acquired Kváskovice and struck the village to their combined estate Wosek - Bratronitz . When Adam Graf Lažansky von Buggau died in 1737, his property was over-indebted and in 1739 fell to his creditors. This divided the rule Bratronitz again into the three goods Bratronitz, Wosek and Mladiegowitz ( Mladějovice ), with Kváskovice being subordinate to the latter. In 1742 Adam Philipp Losy von Losinthal acquired the Mladiegowitz estate and connected it with his Stiekna estate . With his death in 1781 the Losy von Losinthal family died out in the male line. His widow Ernestine Countess Fuchs von Bimbach sold the goods to Joseph-Niklas zu Windisch-Graetz in 1784 . In 1840 the village of Kwaskowitz, on the road from Strakonitz to Barau , consisted of 33 houses with 250 inhabitants. In the village there was a manorial farm, a hunter's house, an emphyteutic inn and an emphyteutic mill. The parish was Parachev . Until the middle of the 19th century, the village of the allodial rule Stiekna and the Mladiegowitz estate remained subject. The owners were the Counts of Windisch-Graetz .

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Kvasovice / Kwaskowitz 1850 a district of the municipality Skala in the district administration and the judicial district Strakonice. From 1880 the village was called Kvaskovice . The current place name has been used since the beginning of the 20th century. Kváskovice broke away from Skála in 1910 and formed its own municipality. In 1964 Skály was incorporated. On July 1, 1975 it was incorporated into Paračov . After a referendum, Kváskovice broke away from Paračov on November 24, 1990 and formed its own municipality.
