history
The place emerged as a clearing settlement in the middle of a forest area, the place name is derived from the Laßraum . In 1228 the Záboří manor was owned by the St. George Monastery at Prague Castle. Because of the long distance, he sold it to a Kolda in 1305. Since Lažánky was not mentioned, it can be assumed that the village did not exist at that time.
Lažánky was first mentioned in documents in 1405. In the 15th century, the Záboří manor was attached to the Kadow Fortress. In the second half of the 16th century, the captain of the Prachiner district, Johann d. Ä. Hořitzky von Prosty, who also owned the Bratronice , Pole and Bezdiekau estates , Kadow and Záboří. In 1636 a school building for parish villages was built in Záboří. Between 1636 and 1649 Albrecht Beneda von Nectin belonged to the following owners. This put his wife Anna Maria née Wratislaw von Mitrowitz and the sons of Nikolaus Alesch von Zrzawa jointly as heirs. They separated Záboří from Kadov and sold the estate with the mills Kuš, Blatenka and Lhotka on May 19, 1662 to Alesch Ferdinand Wratislaw von Mitrowitz, who attached it to his rule in Schlüsselburg . When house numbers were introduced in 1770, 16 houses were counted in it. In 1840 there was Laschanek / Lažanek of 23 houses with 155 inhabitants. The parish and school location was Zaboř . Until the beginning of the 19th century, the village was completely enclosed by forest and had very little agricultural land. Until the middle of the 19th century, Laschanek remained subordinate to the rule of Schlüsselburg.
After the abolition of patrimonial formed Lažánky / Laschanek 1850 a municipality in the district administration and the judicial district Blatná. The volunteer fire brigade was founded in 1888. In 1910 Lažánky consisted of 36 houses in which about 200 people lived. After the Okres Blatná was abolished, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Strakonice in 1960. In 1961 Lažánky was incorporated into Blatenka. In the course of the dissolution of the community Blatenka Lažánky was umgemeindet on April 1, 1976 to Záboří. After a referendum, Lažánky broke away from Záboří on November 24, 1990 and formed its own community. Lažánky today consists of 84 houses. The largest operation is the agricultural cooperative.
