Broby Leeds (born August 17, 1994 ) is an American freestyle skier . He starts in the halfpipe discipline .

Career

Leeds made his debut in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup at Copper Mountain in December 2011 , finishing 36th. In the 2011/12 season he won the Gatorade FreeFlow Tour in Snowbasin and came third in the halfpipe and second in slopestyle on the US Revolution Tour in Otsego . In 2012 and 2013 he became the American junior champion in the halfpipe. At the Junior World Championships 2013 in Chiesa in Valmalenco he won the silver medal. In the 2013/14 season he won the US Revolution Tour in Sun Valley and the Rocky Mountain Freeski Championships in Snowmass . In April 2014 he became the American halfpipe champion. The FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships 2015 at Kreischberg he finished fourth. In February 2015 he won the silver medal in slopestyle at the Winter Universiade in Sierra Nevada . In the 2015/16 season he achieved fifth place in the Halfpipe World Cup with two top ten placements. In January 2016 he triumphed at the Rocky Mountain Freeski Championships in Vail . The following month he finished second at the Aspen Snowmass Freeski Open. He finished tenth at the X-Games Oslo 2016 and seventh at the Winter X-Games 2017 in Aspen .
