The Broken River is a river in the east of the Australian state of Queensland .
geography
River course
The river has its source in the Montgomery Range , part of the Great Dividing Range , around 160 kilometers north-northeast of Hughenden and flows east. About 10 kilometers east of Mount Tabletop it flows into the Clarke River .
