Bruce Clements

Bruce Clements (born November 25, 1931 in New York City ) is an American author of books for children and young people .

Life

Bruce Clements was the son of Representative Paul Eugene and editor Ruth Clements.

He studied at Columbia University , Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York and received his MA in 1962 from the State University of New York at Albany . Clements was ordained in the United Church of Christ and worked from 1957 to 1964 as a pastor in Schenectady and there from 1964 to 1967 as an instructor at Union College . Clements became Professor of English and American Children's and Youth Literature at Eastern Connecticut State University in 1967 . He was also a mediator. As a writer, he has written more than ten books for young people.

Clements married Hanna Charlotte Margarete Kiep (born 1933) in 1954. You have presented biographical works on the German diplomat and resistance fighter Otto Kiep - Hanna Clements' father - who was hanged in 1944 as a member of the Solf Circle .

You live in Windham, Connecticut and have four children.
