Windham is a town in Windham County in the US state Connecticut , United States , with 23,100 inhabitants (as of 2004). The Windham area has a size of 72.3 km². It consists of the town of Willimantic and the three villages of North Windham, Windham Center and South Windham.

In Windham, the Willimantic River and Natchaug River converge to form the Shetucket River . The country is quite hilly, the highest point is the Obwebetuck Hill with 201.5 m and the lowest point is about 33 m in the valley of the Shetucket River.
