Bruno Stanischewski (life dates unknown) was a German football player .

Career

Stanischewski belonged to VfB Leipzig as a striker and played his point games from 1901 to 1904 in the championships organized by the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs , first in the North West Saxony region , next to the Dresden championship, then next to the East Saxony region , one of the two regional highest divisions. In the following season emerged as the winner from the Gau Nordwestsachsen, he played on May 3, 1903 against the Dresdner SC , the winner of the Gau Ostsachsen, for the Central German Championship; the game in Dresden was won 4-0.

Due to the success, qualified for the final round of the German championship , he made his debut on May 10, 1903 in the 3-1 quarter-final victory over the BTuFC Britannia 1892 from Berlin. After his club was also successful in the semifinals on May 17th with 6: 3 against Altona FC 93 , they moved into the final. Stanischewski played the quarter-finals, won 1-0 against Magdeburg FC Viktoria 1896 on April 24, 1904, and the semi-finals won 3-2 on May 15, 1904 after extra time against Duisburg SpV .

However, the final against BTuFC Britannia 1892 , scheduled for May 29, 1904 in Kassel , did not take place. The Karlsruher FV had lodged a protest against the rating of this championship at the DFB . The DFB had not complied with the schedule of the final round matches in a neutral location; as a result, the final was canceled in the morning and the championship final was annulled.
