Diwei "Bryan" Huang (* 1985 ) is a professional Singaporean poker player .
Personal
Huang had to do military service and then studied accounting . He lives in Singapore .
Poker career
Huang came to poker during his military service and studied the game more intensively before completing his studies. He plays online under the nicknames BryanHuang ( PokerStars ) , Brasstal ( Full Tilt Poker ) and BryanHuangFR (PokerStars.FR) . He has teamed up with online tournament poker More than 350,000 US dollars earned. Huang was part of Team PokerStars until the end of 2016 . Since 2006 he has been taking part in renowned live tournaments .
In early September 2008, Huang reached the final table of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour Main Event in Macau and finished the tournament in third place for more than $ 150,000 in prize money. In June 2011 he was successful for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and finished 35th in a tournament in the Limit Hold'em variant for around 4,000 dollars. In mid-April 2015 he came back to the final table at the APPT Main Event in Seoul and landed in second place for around 90,000 dollars in prize money. At the 2015 WSOP , Huang cashed twice. In November 2016, he finished sixth at the APPT Main Event for his highest prize money to date of the equivalent of $ 160,000.
In total, Huang has earned almost $ 1.5 million in live poker tournaments, making him the second most successful Singaporean poker player after Wayne Yap . From April to November 2016 he played as part of the Hong Kong Stars in the Global Poker League and made it to the playoffs with his team.
