Brygida Okayim

Brygida Ochaim (* 1957 in Königshütte ) is a German dancer, choreographer and author.

After participating in various projects, in 1988 she had her first solo program Emboîter - dance with objects at the Gallus Theater in Frankfurt am Main . In the same year she first performed her dance performance Loïe Fuller - Danse des Couleurs , in which she re-staged choreographies by Loïe Fuller . 1993 followed with Irma Vep (Black Paroxysms) a solo dance performance, which refers to Musidora and her role as Irma Vep . The life and work of Fuller and Musidora have remained reference points for Ochaim's work up to the present day. a. in further new productions of Fuller dances at the Biennale Internationale de la Danse in Lyon, at the Nuova Consonanza Accademia Americana Festival in Rome and at the Munich Film Festival , as well as with the exhibition concept Loïe Fuller - danced Art Nouveau for the Villa Stuck in Munich and various articles in publications . Since 1976 Ochaim has worked on various films. In 1995 she was seen in the film Die Gebrüder Skladanowsky by Wim Wenders and students of the HFF Munich with a dance performance. In 1996 she had the choreography and a dance appearance in the film Life is a Game by Claude Chabrol .
