Bryum muehlenbeckii is a moss from the genus pear moss( Bryum ). The species belongs to the species group of Bryum alpinum .
features
The species is similar to Bryum alpinum , but the leaves are more blunt and the upper lamina cells are thin-walled and rhombic. The leaf vein ends before the leaf tip.
Occurrence
The species occurs in Europe, the Middle East and North America. It grows on damp or wet rocks. In Germany it is only known from the Belchen in the Black Forest .
