Buala is a small town with 2,813 inhabitants on the Solomon Islands - Island of Santa Isabel and also the main town and administrative center of the province and the fourth largest city in the country.

Geographical

Buala is located on the south-eastern north coast of the 200 kilometer long island.

The nearest international airport is 153 km away in the state capital Honiara on Guadalcanal ; the regional airport of the city of Fera Airport is located on the offshore island of Fera 3 km away and is reached by water taxis.
