Bubenhofen is the name of a lost place in the area of ​​the municipality of Bad Wörishofen in the Swabian district of Unterallgäu .

history

Bubenhofen is first documented in 1302 when Swigger von Mindelberg sold the bailiwick of some goods, including Bubenhofen, to the Rottenbuch monastery . The monastery had been wealthy in the area since the 13th century and in 1345 also acquired the bailiwick from Ruff von Hürnbach via the Meierhof zu Bubenhofen. After the Thirty Years' War , only the field name Bubenhoferacker existed in 1656.
