Schöneschach is a district of the town of Bad Wörishofen in the Swabian district of Unterallgäu .

location

The village is just under two kilometers west of Bad Wörishofen and is characterized by agriculture.

history

Schöneschach emerged as a clearing settlement in the 15th century and was first mentioned in a document around 1450. At the time of secularization , the place consisted of six courtyards and a shepherd's house, in 1864 it had 45 residents.

Architectural monuments

The St. Wolfgang chapel dates from the 16th century and is a listed building.
