The Buchbach (Czech: Bučinský potok ) is a right tributary of the Eger (Czech: Ohře ) in the Czech part of the cabbage forest in the Fichtel Mountains . The creek is also called Výhledský potok on the Czech side .

The Buchbach rises on the southwest slope of the Výhledy (German: Oberkunreuthberg ), which has its highest elevation with 656  m nm on Czech territory. Its source is contained in a well house .

It flows on the western edge of the Buchwald in a northerly direction and flows into the Eger in the Skalka dam near Pomezí nad Ohří (German: Mühlbach ). The Buchbach is from the Buchbrunnen to the west of the U Bažantnice hill (German: Fasanerie , 568 m) border brook between Germany and the Czech Republic .
